Because an electric car works differently to what we are all conditioned to, one of the first differences people have trouble getting their head around is:
Q: How far can I drive on one charge?
A: Real world between 50 and 120 km is the range we are getting from different cars we have upgraded.
(Mind you.....this only costs the owner approximately 60c (yes cents) to travel this distance).
Q: Why the range in Km’s ?
A: Like the petrol cars you drive now they all have different ranges or mileage per tank. It also matters how you drive...if you plant your foot every time to you take off you will use more petrol. Electric cars are no different plant your foot and you use more electricity drive smoothly you will go further on one charge. The thing to get your head around is that an electric car will not go as far on one charge or tank full as a petrol car.. BUT... it is so cheap and easy to fill up again that it does not compare....It is just a different operating way that you come to learn very quickly.

The other reasons for the driving range are some conversions / upgrades have more batteries. The more batteries the further you go. However distance is not everyone's main criteria. The best idea is choose the car you like to drive and let's see what it will cost to convert it to all electric. It is also a good idea to know what range or daily distance expectations you have in order to go about your daily routine.

We can upgrade or convert pretty well any car to all electric. The best results are achieved from upgrading or converting a smaller car because they are lighter. When we are planning your car we can then make a decision based on your needs about which batteries are used. As it is not necessarily cost effective to place a big 'single charge' battery configuration into your car and then not really using or needing it.
